My very first 3D model. I modeled it after Metroid's famous bounty hunter, Samus Aran. I used the Super Smash Bros. Amiibo as a reference to the model. Each part of the hunter is it's own shape, and this was before we learned how to smooth the polygons.
I could have researched how to smooth the polygons and apply that to multiple objects in this picture, but I felt that the point of science fiction space works is to have sharp lines and shapes.
I was new to the 3D modeling world, but still wanted to do something grande for my first project. Where other students were modelling pencils and pens, I wanted to model people.
