Diababa, the Twilit Parasite
This sketch is based on the Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess. It depicts the first boss battle in the game between Link, and the Twilit Parasite, Diababa. I wanted a more cinematic image in my portfolio to showcase high details along with character design, creature design and background design.
This image is not to illustrate my abilities to design original content, but rather show that I can work with created assets and design work relating to those pieces.
I did take this image a step further to add color and ink to the image. The resulting image was decent, and appeals the eye, though I kept the pencil version due to the contrast between light and dark as opposed to the spectrum of colors. This image was drawn on a 14" x 17" page with a border thickness of 3".
